| 12:50 pm | Sorrow and Joy.. Man this summer well actually last half of 08 and all of 09 have been a total bummer for me.. I really have quit reading, and since I never posted A lot in the first place can not add that to the list.. But anyways my husband of 33 has lost his fight to cancer.. Not asking for anything (well maybe prayers)but this week on one of the yahoo groups someone posted this I finally got around to watching it.. And through the tears .. I was uplifted.. So I thought that I would pass it on.. and maybe someone can see through sorrow (cause this is sad) that there is people who care. As an explanation, this is what the yahoo message stated .............. Nowadays one can be led to believe that America no longer respects honor and no longer honors sacrifice. Be it known that there are many places in this land where people still recognize the courage and impact of total self-sacrifice. Georgia remains one of those graceful places. | 7:57 pm | *sigh* Well tomorrow means back to work... no more sleeping in late.. (I could get real use to that.) and no more sitting around reading Snarry I went back and have tabbed about 40 old ones that I want to read... and actully have started rereading some old sg1 fics.... only 50 more weeks till vacation again... not counting the small ones that I take in between... Now for my rant... if u want to cruise go ahead u will love or at least we did ... cruised twice... both times on carinval... the last time my hubby's bag disappeared b4 the cruise... we reported it as soon as we could ... well today carnival sent us a letter telling us that they want to keep us as customer.. and they r going to give us a whole 100.00 in credit the next time we cruise... WTF by the time we totalled up everything in the bag it was over 700.00. that is a nice far trade for someone... All the did was make me decide to look else when we cruise next.. Now I think that I am off to read Rite of Passage... to make me forget about that stupid cruise company.... |

| 10:56 pm | Grrrr Guess I am not good enough or something tried to join the snape_potter asylum.... and was declined with the message if I want to join to contact the moderators... Some one tell me why I would try again if I am turned down once.. OH well ... have to many other good authors who will let me lurk and read there stuff.. who needs them ....just need to rant a little bit.. been a stressful week LOL if u can beleive going on cruise as stressful. Would have been excellent if my hubby suitcase had made it to our cabin sometime during the cruise.. but nope it disappeared after it was unloaded from the bus we were on never to be seen again by us at least... OH well... maybe this would be a good time to open a bottle of wine.. and find some excellent smut to read and forget about groups that won't let me join... Now the question of the day is White wine or Red!!! |
